Instructions
- Place the mozzarella stick halves in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
- Set up your breading station with three shallow dishes: one with all-purpose flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs, salt, and black pepper.
- Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip it in the egg mixture, and then press it into the seasoned panko breadcrumbs.
- Arrange the breaded mozzarella sticks in a single layer on a plate or baking sheet.
- Preheat your air fryer to 380°F.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
- Arrange the coated mozzarella sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket without touching each other.
- Air fry the mozzarella sticks for 6 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- Once golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and serve immediately.
