Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup mix-ins (such as chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until fully incorporated. Gently fold in any mix-ins.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it out evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Let the bars cool for a few minutes, then lift them out of the pan using the parchment paper. Slice into desired sizes and enjoy.
