  • Bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs (4 pieces)
  • Olive oil (2 tablespoons)
  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Onion powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Paprika (1 teaspoon)
  • Dried thyme (1 teaspoon)
  • Salt (1 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper (1/2 teaspoon)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or lightly grease it.

2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

3. In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs skin-side up in the prepared baking dish.

5. Bake the chicken thighs uncovered for 35–40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden and crisp.

6. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The juices should run clear when the thickest part of the thigh is pierced.

Notes

For super crispy skin, be sure to pat the chicken thighs dry before seasoning.
