Description

These Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned with garlic, Italian herbs, and Parmesan cheese. A simple, flavorful, and healthier alternative to traditional fries, these wedges are a hit as a side dish or snack.

  • 4 large Russet potatoes (sliced into wedges)

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tsp Italian herb seasoning (McCormick)

  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (or cilantro, optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  • Season the wedges: In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until evenly coated.

  • Add cheese: Sprinkle half of the Parmesan cheese over the potato wedges and toss gently to combine.

  • Arrange & bake: Arrange the seasoned wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet, skin-side down. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

  • Garnish & serve: Remove the wedges from the oven. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley over the hot wedges. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, try flipping the wedges halfway through the baking process.
