Description
Balsamic Baked Chicken Breast is a recipe that combines tender, juicy chicken and a robust, savory marinade that infuses every bite with irresistible taste.
Ingredients
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish.
2. Prepare the marinade by whisking together balsamic vinegar, olive oil, honey, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3. Marinate the chicken breasts in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
4. Arrange the marinated chicken in the baking dish and pour any remaining marinade over the top. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Marinate for optimal flavor by letting the chicken sit in the marinade for at least 30 minutes.
Check for doneness using a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Letting the chicken rest before serving helps keep it moist and tender.
