Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter and granulated sugar. Stir in the mashed ripe bananas, the beaten eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
3. Sprinkle the baking soda, ground cinnamon, and ground nutmeg over the wet ingredients. Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix the batter.
4. Pour the Banana Bread batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The internal temperature should reach 205°F when measured with a digital thermometer.
5. Allow the Banana Bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice and enjoy your delicious homemade Banana Bread!
