- Sugar
- Flour
- Eggs
- Pure vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Whisk together sugar, flour, and salt in a saucepan.
2. Gradually pour in milk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Cook over medium heat until thickens.
3. In a separate bowl, lightly beat eggs and temper by pouring in hot pudding mixture while whisking.
4. Pour egg mixture back into saucepan and cook for 2 more minutes, stirring continuously.
5. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
6. Layer vanilla wafers, sliced bananas, and vanilla pudding in a serving dish. Repeat layers.
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
