  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth (optional)
  • 2 cup jasmine rice, cooked
  • Toppings: shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, edamame, avocado, shredded cabbage, green onions, sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  2. Heat the sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the ground turkey and cook for 5 to 7 minutes, breaking it up as it cooks until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Stir in the soy sauce, sriracha, honey, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper. If the sauce is too thick, add chicken broth to loosen it.
  6. Allow the mixture to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to meld the flavors.
  7. To assemble the bowls, divide the cooked jasmine rice among serving bowls.
  8. Top each bowl with a generous portion of the seasoned ground turkey.
