Ingredients
- 2 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 slices bacon
- Toothpicks
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
2. Butterfly each chicken breast and pound to an even thickness.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and green onions. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each chicken breast pocket and roll tightly. Secure with toothpicks.
5. Wrap two slices of bacon around each chicken roll and secure if needed.
6. In a small bowl, mix bourbon and maple syrup. Brush over the bacon-wrapped chicken.
7. Place in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and bacon is crispy.
