Description

Cheeseburger meatloaf is a delightful fusion of two beloved comfort foods – the classic meatloaf and the ever-popular cheeseburger. This dish takes the hearty, satisfying nature of meatloaf and infuses it with the irresistible flavors of a juicy cheeseburger.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil or lightly grease a loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, eggs, breadcrumbs, 1 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

3. Transfer the meatloaf mixture to the prepared baking sheet or loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf or patties.

4. Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake uncovered for 45 minutes.

5. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and top with the remaining cheddar cheese slices and chopped bacon.

6. Return to the oven and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bacon is crispy.

7. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
