Description
Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls are a delightful dish that combines flaky crescent roll dough with a creamy, cheesy chicken filling, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 ounce) crescent roll dough
- 2 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- to taste salt and pepper
- for greasing olive oil or cooking spray
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper until the mixture is smooth and well-incorporated.
3. Open the can of crescent roll dough and unroll it on a clean surface.
4. Take a triangle of dough, place a spoonful of the chicken filling at the wider end, and roll it toward the pointed end, tucking in the sides. Place the assembled roll on the prepared baking sheet with the point facing down. Repeat this process with the remaining dough and filling.
5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and puffed up.
6. Once they’re out of the oven, let the Cheesy Chicken Crescent Rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter or olive oil before baking for a golden-brown crust.
Be mindful not to overstuff the rolls to prevent sogginess.
Experiment with additional seasonings or cheese types for enhanced flavor.
