Description
Cheesy Ground Beef and Rice Casserole is a savory, creamy masterpiece that combines juicy ground beef, fluffy white rice, and melted cheddar cheese.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cup cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk or beef broth
- 1 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt

- In a large bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk or broth, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked rice and half of the shredded cheese to the beef mixture, then pour in the sauce and stir everything together until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 casserole dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- For an extra crispy top, broil the casserole for 2 minutes before serving.
