Description

Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread is a creamy, cheesy masterpiece combining tender chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and buttery garlic bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 small chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil, divided
  • 1 Italian-style loaf, sliced lengthwise
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • 2 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Extra Parmesan cheese for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Toss the chicken pieces with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of poultry seasoning. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the seasoned chicken. Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown and cooked through, about 5 to 7 minutes. Set the cooked chicken aside.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F. In a bowl, combine 3/4 cup melted butter, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley, and the crushed red pepper flakes. Spread this garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the Italian-style loaf. Place the bread halves on a baking sheet and toast them in the preheated oven for 5 to 10 minutes, until they’re golden and fragrant.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the remaining butter over medium heat. Add the remaining minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese and the remaining chopped parsley. Simmer the sauce, stirring continuously, until it thickens slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the sauce from the heat and set it aside.
  4. Spread half of the Alfredo sauce over the toasted bread halves. Top with the cooked chicken, followed by the shredded mozzarella cheese, and finally, the remaining Alfredo sauce.
  5. Return the assembled bread to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes at 350°F, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Once the Chicken Alfredo Garlic Bread is hot and melty, slice and serve. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
