Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound frozen potato tots
  • 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 tablespoon ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 3 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 cup sliced scallions

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

2. Spread the frozen potato tots on a large baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Remove from the oven and set aside. Reduce the oven temperature to 375°F.

3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch dressing, ranch dressing mix, cracked black pepper, and granulated garlic until fully combined and smooth.

4. Fold the shredded rotisserie chicken, shredded Cheddar cheese, and 1 cup of the crumbled bacon into the creamy ranch mixture, ensuring everything is evenly coated.

5. Transfer the chicken mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly to form a uniform layer.

6. Carefully arrange the baked tater tots on top of the chicken mixture.

7. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are bubbling and the tater tots are golden.

8. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of crumbled bacon on top. Garnish with sliced scallions. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Use a well-greased 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking and ensure easy serving.

Experiment with different cheese varieties, such as Monterey Jack or Pepper Jack, for a unique flavor twist.

Adjust the amount of ranch dressing mix to suit your personal taste preferences, adding more or less for a stronger or milder ranch flavor.

Store any leftover casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or oven.
