Description

Chicken Cordon Bleu Stromboli is the ultimate fusion of two beloved dishes – the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu and the versatile Stromboli. This recipe takes the flavors of tender chicken, savory ham, and melted Swiss cheese, all wrapped up in a golden, flaky crust. It’s a dish that’s sure to impress your family and friends with its delightful combination of textures and tastes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 cup cooked chicken breast
  • 6 slices deli ham
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll Out Dough: On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to roll the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 10×14 inches in size.

3. Layer Fillings: Spread the Dijon mustard and mayonnaise (if using) over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Arrange the ham slices, chicken, and Swiss cheese evenly over the surface.

4. Roll and Seal: Starting from one long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Pinch the edges to seal and place the Stromboli seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Brush and Season: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this mixture over the top of the Stromboli, then sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese.

6. Bake and Slice: Bake the Chicken Cordon Bleu Stromboli for 25–30 minutes, or until it’s golden brown. Allow it to cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

Chicken Cordon Bleu Stromboli pairs wonderfully with a variety of side dishes. Consider serving it with a fresh garden salad, roasted vegetables, or a creamy garlic Alfredo sauce for dipping. For a heartier meal, you can also serve it alongside mashed potatoes or a side of steamed rice.
