Description

Chicken Ramen Stir Fry is the ultimate solution for busy weeknights when you crave a quick, delicious, and nutritious meal. By combining tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and savory ramen noodles in a perfectly balanced sauce, you can whip up a restaurant-quality dish right in your own kitchen.


Ingredients

  • 2 packages (3 ounce each) ramen noodles
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
  • 3 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 large red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions (about 3 minutes). Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water before draining the noodles.
  2. Heat the sesame oil and olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 6-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  3. In the same pan, add the remaining sesame oil and sauté the bell pepper, broccoli, and cabbage for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the pan, add the cooked ramen noodles, and pour the prepared sauce over the top. Toss everything together, using the reserved pasta water to help the sauce coat the noodles if needed. Cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
