- 1/2 head cabbage, chopped

- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon black sesame seeds
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced chicken in a mixture of soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar, and white pepper for at least 15-20 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat and sear the marinated chicken until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, add sesame oil and stir-fry the cabbage, onion, and red bell pepper for 5-6 minutes until slightly softened.
- Add garlic and ginger to the vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the chicken to the pan and pour in the chicken stock. Bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with a little water to create a slurry and add it to the pan to thicken the sauce.
- Stir everything together until well combined and heated through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and black sesame seeds.
