Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or nuts + 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.

2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Mix in the beaten eggs and mashed bananas until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

5. If you’d like to add chocolate chips or nuts, toss them with 1 tablespoon of flour and gently fold them into the batter.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 55–65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
