Description

Cozy Garlic Butter Beef Bowl: A Comforting and Flavorful Meal

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat and melting the butter. Add the ground beef and diced onion, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

2. Next, stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant and infuse the beef with its bold flavor.

3. Now, add the uncooked rice and beef broth to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and let the rice simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until it’s tender and the liquid has been absorbed.

4. Once the rice is cooked, stir in the milk, cheddar cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Continue cooking and stirring until the cheese has melted and the mixture is creamy and smooth.

5. Finally, sprinkle the fresh parsley over the top of the Cozy Garlic Butter Beef Bowl and serve it warm, straight from the skillet.

Notes

The Cozy Garlic Butter Beef Bowl is versatile. You can use ground turkey or lean ground chicken for a healthier option, lentils or a plant-based meat substitute for a vegetarian version, or gluten-free rice or quinoa for a gluten-free dish.
