Instructions
1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat and melting the butter. Add the ground beef and diced onion, cooking until the beef is browned and the onion is softened. Drain any excess fat from the skillet.
2. Next, stir in the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, allowing the garlic to become fragrant and infuse the beef with its bold flavor.
3. Now, add the uncooked rice and beef broth to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and let the rice simmer for 15-18 minutes, or until it’s tender and the liquid has been absorbed.
