This mouthwatering dish has become a favorite among families and busy cooks alike, thanks to its rich, satisfying flavors and its versatility in the kitchen.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 4 cups fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add the chopped bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving some bacon fat in the pan.
  4. Add spinach and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted and garlic is fragrant.
  5. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes. Whisk until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked chicken, bacon, and drained pasta to the skillet. Toss until everything is evenly coated with sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.
