Description
Creamy Garlic Boneless Pork Chops are tender, juicy pork chops seared to perfection and smothered in a luscious, garlicky cream sauce. Serve it over mashed potatoes or with roasted veggies for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops
- ¾ cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoon butter, divided
- 2 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the chops for 4-5 minutes per side until golden-brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute. Sprinkle in the flour and cook briefly, stirring constantly.
3. Slowly pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, whisking to create a smooth sauce. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes, then add heavy cream. Bring to a gentle boil, stirring occasionally until thickened.
4. Return the seared pork chops to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the sauce. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until cooked through and sauce reaches desired consistency.
5. Transfer pork chops to a plate and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with sides like mashed potatoes or roasted vegetables.
Notes
For a touch of heat, add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to the sauce. Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or coconut cream if needed.
