Description

This creamy garlic sauce steak is the ultimate indulgence. Perfectly seared ribeye steaks are smothered in a rich, velvety garlic butter sauce made with heavy cream and beef broth. Simple to make and full of flavor, this dish is perfect for any occasion, from a weeknight dinner to a special celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup beef broth

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season & Sear Steaks: Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side or until your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  • Make Garlic Butter: In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.

  • Create Creamy Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.

  • Combine & Serve: Return the steaks to the skillet. Spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Steak Doneness: Adjust the searing time to your preferred steak doneness. For rare, sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side; for medium, aim for 3-4 minutes on each side.

  • Cream Variations: For a lighter version, you can substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.

  • Broth Options: You can substitute the beef broth with chicken broth if you prefer a milder flavor.
