Description

Creamy High-Protein Beef Pasta is a delightful dish that combines the richness of a creamy sauce with the heartiness of lean ground beef and the nutritional boost of high-protein pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounce high-protein pasta
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 4 ounce cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Cook the high-protein pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Stir in the crushed garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional minute.
  4. Add the tomato paste and tomato sauce to the skillet. Simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken.
  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked high-protein pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce. Stir in the chopped basil.
  7. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

To ensure perfect pasta, cook it al dente.

If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of milk or broth.

Customize flavors with different herbs or spices.
