Description

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

1. Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the penne until al dente, then drain and set aside.

2. Cook Chicken: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and golden. Remove the chicken and set it aside.

3. Cook Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and asparagus. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until tender.

4. Make Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until the sauce starts to thicken, about 3–4 minutes.
