Description

Creamy Mushroom Swiss Burger Casserole is a hearty dish combining ground beef, mushrooms, and Swiss cheese in a creamy baked casserole.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup cooked egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the diced onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic. Sauté until tender and onions are translucent. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Pour in heavy cream and beef broth, mixing until well combined.
  4. Fold in cooked egg noodles and half of the shredded Swiss cheese until evenly coated.
  5. Spoon the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining Swiss cheese on top, followed by breadcrumbs.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted, bubbly, and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh chopped parsley, and serve hot.
