Whether you’re looking for a show-stopping main course or a crowd-pleasing appetizer, these chicken bombs are sure to be a hit.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well incorporated.

3. Use a sharp knife to cut a horizontal pocket in each chicken breast. Spoon the cheese and bacon mixture into the pockets.

4. Dip the stuffed chicken breasts in the beaten eggs, then roll in the breadcrumbs.

5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Notes

Allow the chicken bombs to rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm, garnished with fresh chopped parsley or chives. They pair beautifully with roasted vegetables, a fresh green salad, or your favorite sides.
