Description
Crispy Bacon Cheese Stuffed Chicken Bombs are an ultimate comfort food, combining tender chicken breasts, oozing melted cheese, and crispy bacon for a truly decadent meal.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
3. To stuff the chicken, cut a horizontal pocket in each chicken breast and spoon the cheese and bacon mixture into the pockets.
4. Dip the stuffed chicken breasts in the beaten eggs and roll them in the breadcrumbs.
5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet and drizzle them with olive oil. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
6. Allow the chicken bombs to rest for a few minutes before slicing and serve warm.
Notes
Choose chicken breasts of similar size for even cooking.
Seal the pockets tightly after stuffing to prevent leaking. Toothpicks can help secure the edges if needed.
