Description
Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is a creamy, comforting slow-cooker dish perfect for busy weeknights.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 12 ounce garlic parmesan sauce
- 8 ounce cream cheese, cut into pieces
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 10 ounce dry pasta (penne or rotini)
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season the chicken with the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Drizzle the garlic parmesan sauce over the chicken, then top with the pieces of cream cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Cover the crockpot and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
- Once the cooking time is up, remove the chicken from the crockpot and use two forks to shred it into bite-sized pieces. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and stir it into the creamy sauce.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the dry pasta according to the package instructions until it’s al dente. Drain the pasta and add it to the crockpot, stirring everything together until well combined.
- Ladle the delectable Crockpot Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta into bowls, garnishing with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes (if desired).
