- 1 package ramen noodles
- 1 pound frozen dumplings
- 4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 8 ounce sliced mushrooms
- 2 cup baby spinach or bok choy
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon miso paste (optional)
- Soft-boiled eggs, sesame seeds, chili oil, and cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in miso paste if using, and dissolve it in the oil.
- Pour in the broth and soy sauce, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the frozen dumplings and sliced mushrooms to the broth.
- Cook for 5 to 6 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
- Drop in the ramen noodles and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until tender.
- Stir in the baby spinach or bok choy and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until wilted.
- Divide the cooked noodles, dumplings, and vegetables into serving bowls.
- Ladle the hot broth over the top and garnish with green onions, soft-boiled eggs, sesame seeds, and chili oil.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free ramen noodles and ensure broth and soy sauce are gluten-free.
For a vegan option, replace dumplings with plant-based alternatives and skip soft-boiled eggs.
