Description

Dumpling Ramen Bowl is a delightful fusion of ramen noodle soup and dumplings, combining rich broth with satisfying dumplings for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package ramen noodles
  • 1 pound frozen dumplings
  • 4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 8 ounce sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cup baby spinach or bok choy
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon miso paste (optional)
  • Soft-boiled eggs, sesame seeds, chili oil, and cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in miso paste if using, and dissolve it in the oil.
  4. Pour in the broth and soy sauce, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  5. Add the frozen dumplings and sliced mushrooms to the broth.
  6. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
  7. Drop in the ramen noodles and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until tender.
  8. Stir in the baby spinach or bok choy and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until wilted.
  9. Divide the cooked noodles, dumplings, and vegetables into serving bowls.
  10. Ladle the hot broth over the top and garnish with green onions, soft-boiled eggs, sesame seeds, and chili oil.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free ramen noodles and ensure broth and soy sauce are gluten-free.

For a vegan option, replace dumplings with plant-based alternatives and skip soft-boiled eggs.
