Description

Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Bake is a comforting and flavor-packed meal combining tender sirloin steak, roasted baby potatoes, and garlic-herb butter.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin steak
  • 2 cup baby potatoes
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the halved baby potatoes with 1/2 cup melted butter, salt, and black pepper. Spread the seasoned potatoes onto a baking sheet.
  3. Place the potato-filled baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are slightly tender.
  4. While the potatoes are roasting, melt the remaining butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary, and sauté for 1 minute. Then, add the steak pieces and cook until they’re nicely browned.
  5. Pour the garlic-butter steak mixture over the roasted potatoes on the baking sheet. Toss everything together until the steak and potatoes are evenly coated. Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the Garlic Butter Steak and Potato Bake from the oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For a dairy-free version, use olive oil or a plant-based butter substitute.

You can use frozen potatoes but adjust cooking time by an additional 10-15 minutes.
