Garlic Butter Steak with Parmesan Cream Sauce is a culinary masterpiece that’s sure to impress your family and friends. With its irresistible flavors, tender steak, and velvety smooth sauce, this dish is a true showstopper that will have everyone asking for seconds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak pieces in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  3. Remove the steak from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoon of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce. Add Italian seasoning and optional red pepper flakes.
  7. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
  8. Return the seared steak to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Simmer together for 1-2 minutes.
  9. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve over creamy mashed potatoes, fluffy white rice, or roasted vegetables. Consider pairing with a crisp green salad and crusty bread.
