Delightful Homemade Garlic Knots: A Savory Italian Delight

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangular shape, then cut the dough into long, thin strips. Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.

3. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant.

4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

5. Coat each garlic knot with the garlic butter mixture. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Notes

Serve warm as a side dish, appetizer, or snack with marinara sauce for dipping.
