Description

Garlic Parmesan Bowtie Pasta with Creamy Beef is a hearty, comforting dish featuring a rich, creamy beef sauce infused with garlic and Parmesan cheese, served over bowtie pasta.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounce bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until it’s nicely browned. Drain any excess fat if necessary.

4. Stir in the heavy cream, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

5. Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the Parmesan cheese and butter. Continuously stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth.

6. Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until the pasta is evenly coated in the rich, creamy beef sauce.

7. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the pasta rest for a couple of minutes before serving.

Notes

To make this dish lighter, consider using low-fat milk or a dairy-free cream alternative instead of heavy cream. Ground turkey or a plant-based protein can also be substituted for the ground beef.
