Description

Prepare to indulge in a delectable fusion of flavors with our Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Fettuccine Bake. This dish is a true culinary masterpiece, combining the rich creaminess of fettuccine pasta, the succulent flavors of juicy shrimp, and the irresistible blend of garlic and Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounce fettuccine pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add the shrimp, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, sautéed shrimp, heavy cream, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until well combined and the sauce coats the pasta evenly.
  5. Transfer the fettuccine and shrimp mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let cool slightly, garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

The Garlic Parmesan Shrimp Fettuccine Bake pairs beautifully with a fresh green salad or crusty garlic bread. Consider serving with a light white wine or an Italian-inspired cocktail.
