Description

Honey Garlic Sheet Pan Sausage is a deliciously easy weeknight meal that combines smoked sausage, sweet potatoes, bell peppers, red onion, broccoli, and a flavorful honey garlic sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound smoked sausage
  • 1 pound sweet potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Add the diced sweet potatoes to the sheet pan, drizzle with olive oil (or 1 tablespoon of the honey garlic sauce), and toss to coat.
  3. Add the sliced sausage, chopped bell peppers, sliced red onion, and broccoli florets to the sheet pan. Pour the honey garlic sauce over everything and toss to ensure the ingredients are evenly coated.
  4. Place the sheet pan in the preheated oven and roast for 15 to 20 minutes, tossing the ingredients once halfway, until the sweet potatoes are tender and the sausage is browned.
  5. Once the dish is ready, serve it hot, either on its own or over a bed of rice or quinoa. Be sure to spoon any delicious pan sauce over the top for maximum flavor.

Notes

Choose smoked sausage like kielbasa or chicken sausage for best flavor.

Cut vegetables into similar-sized pieces for even cooking.

Keep an eye on cooking time as it may vary based on oven temperature.
