- 1 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon black pepper (freshly cracked)
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
- 12 ounce penne pasta
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup reserved pasta water (as needed)
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned and cooked through.
- In the same skillet, combine honey, soy sauce, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, and hot sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer for a couple of minutes. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the creamy garlic sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
- Plate the creamy garlic pasta and top with honey pepper chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra black pepper.
