Ingredients
- 2 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
- 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup dried fruits (cranberries or apple pieces)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Combine the Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the old-fashioned rolled oats, mixed nuts, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well-mixed.
3. Mix the Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the honey (or maple syrup) until smooth. Pour this over the dry mixture and stir until evenly coated.
4. Shape the Clusters: Press the granola mixture firmly onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into clusters.
5. Bake to Perfection: Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden-brown.
6. Cool and Break Apart: Allow to cool completely before breaking into clusters.
