Ingredients
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. In a skillet, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat until cooked through and no longer pink. Drain any excess fat from the pan.
2. Transfer the cooked sausage to a crockpot or slow cooker.
3. Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, spinach, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, salt, and pepper to the crockpot. Stir to combine all the ingredients.
4. Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, allowing the flavors to meld together and the sauce to thicken.
