Combining the bold flavors of Korean cuisine with the irresistible allure of perfectly seasoned meatballs, this recipe is a true culinary delight that will have your family and friends clamoring for more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, ginger, and green onions. Mix until well combined.

3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.

4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

5. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the Korean BBQ sauce by combining soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce is warm.

6. Once the meatballs are done, toss them in the warm BBQ sauce until well coated.

7. For the spicy mayo dip, mix together mayonnaise, sriracha, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.

8. Serve the meatballs hot with the spicy mayo dip on the side.

Notes

These Korean BBQ Meatballs can be served as an appetizer or main dish. They pair well with steamed rice or vegetables. For sliders, place meatballs in buns and top with spicy mayo.
