Ingredients
- 1 pound frozen hash browns
- 1/2 pound ground pork sausage
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then add the thawed hash browns. Season with salt and pepper and cook until golden brown and crispy, about 10-12 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
2. Add the ground pork sausage to the skillet, breaking it up as it browns. Once cooked, stir in the diced ham, diced onion, and diced red bell pepper. Season with additional salt and pepper and cook for about 6-8 minutes until vegetables are softened and lightly browned.
3. Return the crispy hash browns to the skillet, gently folding them into the sausage and vegetable mixture. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top and let melt for 2-3 minutes.
