Ingredients
- 500 grams frozen or fresh-cut fries
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon butter or plant-based butter
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Pinch of salt and black pepper
- 4 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
Instructions
1. Cook the fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Toss with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Stir in cheese, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, vinegar or lemon juice, and sugar or honey.
4. Layer seasoned fries on a plate, drizzle with cheese sauce, then voodoo sauce. Top with desired toppings and serve hot.
