Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
1. Combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Rub mixture onto both sides of pork chops. Marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
2. Grill or pan-sear marinated pork chops until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 145°F. Top with crumbled bacon.
3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually pour in milk and heavy cream, whisking continuously until sauce thickens. Stir in Dijon mustard, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 1 minute.
