If you’re craving a delectable and flavor-packed meal, look no further than these Maple Chicken Bacon Sliders. Combining the sweetness of maple syrup, the savory richness of chicken and bacon, and the gooey goodness of melted cheese, these mini sandwiches are sure to become a new family favorite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (12 rolls) King’s Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy and chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped bacon, shredded cheese, mayonnaise, 2 tablespoon of maple syrup, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  3. Without separating the rolls, slice the entire sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  4. Spread the chicken and bacon mixture evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Place the top half of the rolls over the filling.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, 2 tablespoon of maple syrup, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls.
  6. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 10 minutes, until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove the Maple Chicken Bacon Sliders from the oven and let them cool for 2 to 3 minutes. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

To customize the flavor of your Maple Chicken Bacon Sliders, consider adding different herbs and spices to the chicken mixture, such as garlic powder, onion powder, or smoked paprika for a deeper flavor profile. You can also experiment with different types of cheese, like pepper jack for a spicy kick or gouda for a smoky flavor.
