Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 3 cloves minced garlic

- 4 cup chicken broth
- 9 ounce fresh cheese-filled tortellini
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. In a large skillet or pot, melt 2 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Season the cubed chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pot and set it aside.
2. In the same pot, melt the remaining butter. Add the minced garlic and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking until fragrant and the garlic is softened.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer. Add the tortellini and cook according to the package directions until tender.
4. Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Continue cooking until the sauce is creamy and coats the tortellini.
5. Add the cooked chicken back to the pot and stir to combine. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
