A delicious fusion of pepperoni pizza and quesadilla, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
- 1 large flour tortilla
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1/4 pound pepperoni slices
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
1. Lay a large flour tortilla flat on a clean surface.
2. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over half of the tortilla.
3. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
4. Arrange the pepperoni slices in an even layer.
5. Add a sprinkle of dried oregano and crushed red pepper flakes if desired.
6. Fold the tortilla in half over the toppings.
7. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the folded tortilla for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
8. Remove from heat and slice into wedges. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Can be customized with additional toppings like bell peppers or onions.
