Description
Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Cheesy Breadsticks are a delicious combination of tender steak, sautéed veggies, and melted mozzarella wrapped in buttery breadsticks.
Ingredients
- 1 pound thinly sliced steak
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup diced onions
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 package pizza dough or breadstick dough
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
- 1 cup marinara or cheese sauce (optional)
Instructions
1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the onions and bell peppers until soft. Add the steak, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and cook until done. Let cool slightly.
2. Roll out the pizza or breadstick dough into a rectangle on a floured surface. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
3. Spread the steak and veggie mixture over half of the dough. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and seal the edges.
4. Cut the stuffed dough into strips and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush with melted butter. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.
5. Garnish with dried parsley if desired. Serve with marinara or cheese sauce for dipping.
