Deliciously Easy Ranch Chicken Crock Pot Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 can (10.5 ounce) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for searing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Sear the chicken in olive oil for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned.
2. Prepare the sauce by whisking together cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until smooth.
3. Place the seared or raw chicken breasts in the crock pot and pour the sauce over the top.
4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
5. In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken and cover to let it melt.
6. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream if needed.
Add cayenne pepper or hot sauce for extra heat.
Include diced carrots, potatoes, or bell peppers for a veggie boost.
