Description

Indulge in the Creamy Goodness of Seafood Lasagna with Shrimp & Crab. This dish combines rich, creamy flavors of Alfredo sauce, shrimp, crab, and a variety of cheeses.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound crab meat
  • 2 cup Alfredo sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then toss in the shrimp. Cook the shrimp until they’re just pink, then gently fold in the crab meat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half the mozzarella, half the Parmesan, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well-incorporated.
  4. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish. Arrange the cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce, then top with the ricotta cheese mixture, the seafood mixture, and more Alfredo sauce. Repeat these layers, finishing with a layer of sauce and the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and lightly golden.
  6. Let the Seafood Lasagna rest for 10 to 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

To enhance flavor, consider adding fresh herbs like basil or dill to your cheese mixture. A splash of white wine while cooking seafood can add depth.
