Description

Delicious Sheet Pan Sausage and Sweet Potatoes with Irresistible Honey Garlic Sauce

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken or turkey sausage
  • 2 cup sweet potatoes, chopped
  • 2 cup broccoli, chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Oil, for drizzling (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. 2. Chop the sweet potatoes and broccoli into bite-sized pieces, then arrange them on the prepared baking sheet. Toss the veggies with a sprinkle of salt, pepper, and a drizzle of oil (if desired). Slice the sausage into 1/2-inch pieces and nestle them among the vegetables.

3. 3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Let the sauce simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

4. 4. Pop the sheet pan in the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, tossing the ingredients halfway through.

5. 5. Remove the sheet pan from the oven and drizzle the honey garlic sauce over the roasted sausage and vegetables. Gently toss to coat everything evenly.

6. 6. Sprinkle with fresh, minced parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Cut the veggies evenly for consistent cooking.

Toss halfway through baking for even browning.

Use a large, rimmed sheet pan to avoid overcrowding.

Meal prep veggies and sauce ahead for quick cooking.

Pair with sides like salad or dinner rolls for a complete meal.
