Description

Slow Cooker Beef and Noodles is a comforting, soul-satisfying dish that’s perfect for chilly days and family gatherings. With its tender beef, rich broth, and perfectly cooked noodles, it’s a dish that’s sure to become a new favorite in your household.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pound beef chuck roast
  • 2 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 12 ounce egg noodles
  • Fresh parsley (optional)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Place the seasoned beef into your slow cooker, then add the beef broth, onion soup mix, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Cover the slow cooker and let the beef simmer on low heat for 8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  4. About 30 minutes before the beef is done, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain them well and set them aside until the beef is ready.
  5. Once the beef is fall-apart tender, shred it right in the slow cooker using two forks or tongs. Gently stir the shredded beef into the flavorful broth.
  6. Add the cooked egg noodles to the slow cooker and stir to coat them in the beefy broth and shredded meat. Let the dish warm through for 10-15 minutes.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
