Ingredients
-
1 lb ground chicken or turkey
-
1 cup chopped spinach (fresh or thawed)
-
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
-
1 egg
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
-
4 oz mozzarella, cubed
-
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
-
Mix Meatball Base: In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken or turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

Form & Stuff: Scoop out portions of the meat mixture and flatten slightly. Place a cube of mozzarella in the center and roll the mixture into a ball, sealing the cheese inside.

Bake: Arrange the stuffed meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden.
-
Serve: Serve the meatballs hot with marinara sauce, pasta, or as an appetizer. Enjoy the melty mozzarella center!
Notes
-
You can use ground beef or pork as an alternative to chicken or turkey.
-
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free breadcrumbs.
-
Make sure to chill the meatballs for a few minutes if they seem too soft before baking.
